Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
That New Girl (“the app”) uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your routine itself — your days, themes, streaks and photos — stays on your device. The only thing that can leave your device is an optional account, described below, and only if you choose to create one.
Data on your device
Your routines, themes, streaks, photos and settings are stored locally on your device only. We have no access to them, and they are never uploaded.
Accounts (optional)
You can create an account to save your place. If you do, we store your email address and a secure one-way hash of your password (never the password itself). An account is used only to identify you; it does not upload your routines, themes or photos. You can stop using it at any time, and you can ask us to delete it by writing to the address under Contact.
Photos
If you choose your own photographs as backdrops, the app asks for access to your photo library. Selected images are copied into the app's local storage on your device and are never uploaded anywhere. You can change this permission at any time in Settings.
Notifications
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No data is sent to any server to deliver them.
Third parties
The app contains no third-party SDKs, analytics or ad networks. It makes network requests only to load its configuration and, if you create one, to manage your account.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. The only information an account holds is the email address you choose to provide.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. If you created an account, open ••• → Streak & settings in the app and tap Delete account to remove it from our server, or write to the address below and we will delete it for you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
